Located in the heart of eastern North Carolina!

Pinetops is on the Raleigh-Greenville Corridor, located centrally between Greenville, Wilson and Rocky Mount. Pinetops offers a wonderful quality of life, with a three campus school system, a variety of businesses, heart warming churches and friendly people.

Pinetops is a quaint town in southern Edgecombe County.  Founded in 1901, the Town was incorporated in May 1903 as a rail station.  We grew with businesses as merchants choose to locate near the railroad line that took people and goods between Tarboro and Farmville.

Henry Bridgers purchased a one (1) square plot that would define the Town limits.  Since that time, the people of Pinetops have been an intersection of commerce in Edgecombe County.
